Obama's Executive Order

I believe Obama's decision, his executive order halting the deportation of hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants, will go down in history as one of the greatest acts any American president has made.

While on another magnitude, it makes me think of that boat loaded with thousands of Jewish refugees from Germany in the late 30's that was refused entry into the USA and sent back Germany where they all perished in the camps.

(correction) thanks to ds, I've learned that the boat was sent back to Europe, where some of the passengers were let off in England, Brussels, Antwerp, Holland.  But only about half of them survived.

This magnanimous act of Barack Obama, while I know it bothers a lot of people, and goes against what many believe, is so meritorious, that if there is a heaven, he will be there.
