Memoir reveals Whatever Happened to Bernie Cornfeld

Los Angeles, CA, May 10, 2008—There’s a buzz around the Hollywood hive lately that none other than Bernie Cornfeld, flamboyant playboy financier who ruled the world of international finance (and almost brought the whole thing crashing down) back in the 60's, is about to resurface yet again, albeit in another dimension....

West Hollywood legend Carol Pearlman has written a memoir about her marriage to Cornfeld's closest honcho and shares her view up close and personal with Cornfeld while he was building and gambling away his empire.

The title of the book is THE PRINCESS FROM FLATBUSH, and Whatever Happened to Bernie Cornfeld.

The memoir is buzzing around the offices of several production companies* interested in what promises to be a juicy story that take us from working-class Brooklyn to lakeside chateaux in Geneva, brimming with sex, intrigue, betrayal… all the goodies of a cautionary tale still relevant for these times.

* We have no fear to name names here in the ethereal world of blogdom. The producers in whose offices the manuscript is being praised are: Robert Evans Company & Dino de Laurentis Company. Yes! The kid stays in the picture.

It is the author's most fervent desire to find a literary agent who will put his or her heart & soul into getting a book deal from a good publishing house and negotiate the rights to this story with whichever production company comes up with the goodies.

Please contact TheLadyUpstairs at 323 927 2770 with recommendations for literary agents. There's a reward for the finder of a successful match.

Thank you.

Oprah, where are you?
